M\u00f6chte man jedoch ausschlie\u00dflich in seinem Tiny House leben, hei\u00dft das fu\u0308r die meisten Menschen, sich bewusst zu reduzieren und sich auf die wesentlichen Dinge zu beschr\u00e4nken. Beim Umzug in ein Tiny House kommt man um die Frage: Was brauche ich eigentlich wirklich? nicht herum. Der Stauraum ist begrenzt \u2013 Zeit die Bu\u0308cher und Plattensammlung zu sortieren, den Kleiderschrank auszumisten und zu schauen, ob man auf die Dinge, die sich u\u0308ber die Jahre angesammelt haben, nicht verzichten kann. Denn den Inhalt einer 2\u20133 Zimmerwohnung in einem Tiny House unterzubringen funktioniert in den wenigsten F\u00e4llen. Die Maximalma\u00dfe beziehen sich immer auf die Au\u00dfenma\u00dfe und den breitesten und h\u00f6chsten Punkt des Tiny Houses. Je nach Dachform, Wandst\u00e4rke und Plattform verringert sich der Wohnraum entsprechend. Der Bodenaufbau muss mit mindestens 14,5 cm eingeplant werden, das Dach sollte mindestens eine Dicke von 18 cm haben und die W\u00e4nde sollten mindestens 14 cm dick sein, damit man eine gute D\u00e4mmung hat. Wird nach EnEV<\/a> gebaut, muss jeweils 10 cm mehr eingeplant werden.
